I was skeptical discussing my career/ personal position with a very senior male wondering how he could possibly understand the challenges women face during our career; without judgement. But very quickly Andrew showed a deep respect for women and whilst he may not have experienced personally the issues raised, he was very aware of their existence, with empathy. That felt comforting and allowed me to open up and talk in a space where I didn’t feel judged or inadequate for doing so. He immediately identified my insecurities and that it was me myself in the way of my next move.
